They were both born and raised in Radenthein, Carinthia a small town close to Spittal an der Drau and Have 2 married daughters. Leni grew up as a catholic, God was always important to her, but she really decided to follow Jesus in 2003. Dieter gave his life to Jesus 2005 at the Royal Ranger Camp, an Austrian Christian Scout camp.
Besides pioneering and pastoring a church Dieter has worked as a leading chemical lab technician for 39 years, Leni is self-employed as dyslexia trainer and tutor.
What they love about LIFE Church:
That it is a relational movement with mutual support and that there is so much appreciation for each other.
What they love about Austria:
That it is such a beautiful country, that it is economically stable and safe, and that there is so much freedom.
What they love about Church planting & leadership:
Working with people, bringing them into freedom and their purpose.
Life Church Spittal an der Drau then and now:
LIFE Church Spittal was started in September 2014 as a small group from LIFE Church Villach was planted out to become a Life Church closer to our home vicinities. It was led by Franz Guzelnig while Dieter and Leni were trained in the Leadership academy and then established as the leading couple in 2017.
The church rents its own church premises centrally located, uses it for various activities and can not be overlooked. It also cooperates with various voluntary organizations to add to the well being of the town and its people.
